About Me

I work full time as an electrical engineer and have an exciting challenging roll designing and programming electronics for new and rebuilt automated medical equipment. On my down time I enjoy many of my hobbies. A few of my hobbies include electronics, ham radio, photography, 3D Printing and metal detecting.

I opened this site to display some of my hobby photography work. I hope you enjoy and appreciate some of the great photographs that I have captured as much as I do.

My Approach

My approach to photography has been a lot of studying in the arts of light manipulation and composition. I have leaned to shoot in full manual mode for better control over my photographs. I also have been experimenting with different types of off camera strobes and better lighting options other than the standard flash on the camera. It makes a huge difference when you are in full control of your gear and are not stuck in auto. Auto rarely captures the moment the way you see it in your mind or with your eyes.
